Airport to City Centre

On arrival at Edinburgh Airport, it is possible to get to the city centre by bus, by taxi or by tram:

By Bus

The Airlink 100 service runs approximately every ten minutes with the journey to Waverley Bridge (next to Waverley train station) taking around 30 minutes.

Tickets can be bought at the airport or from the bus driver (£4 single).

By Taxi

The taxi rank is located in the ground floor of the multi-storey carpark opposite the main terminal building. The journey takes around 25 minutes.

By Tram

Trams depart from the airport approximately every ten minutes with the journey to St Andrew Square taking around 40 minutes.

Tickets must be bought from the machine at the tram stop (£5 adult single).
